Music Ministries
Congregational Worship
At every church service, the people of Harvest Baptist Church are given the opportunity to worship and glorify God as they sing to Him in Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. The singing on Sunday mornings is accompanied by a piano, keyboard, organ, orchestra and choir. The congregational worship is led by the Minister of Music, Kevin Inafuku. Each song service is prayed through and designed so that the people will truly woship God not only with their words but with their hearts.
Harvest Baptist Church Choir
Each Sunday, the choir helps lead the church in the congregational worship and sings a special song that proclaims the truths of God’s Word. The choir is comprised of approximately fifty men and women who are committed to living for and singing to the glory of God.
Harvest Baptist Bible Institute Choir
The students of Harvest Baptist Bible Institute bring a fresh island sound to our worship services. Some of the specials include the entire student body, while others are smaller, specialized groups. All the instrumental accompaniments that are played on the guitars and ukuleles are arranged by the students.
Teen Choir
God has gifted some of our teenagers with both vocal and instruemental abilities. A couple times throughout the year, the teens will prepare a special song for one of the services.
Orchestra
Our orchestra has approximately twenty members and includes such instruments as the violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, oboe, trumpet, tuba and others.
Guitar & Ukulele Group
Guitars and ukeleles are key instruments in the islands of Micronesia. We are blessed to have many players in our church body. Several times a year, we hold a service in which all of the congregational music and specials are accompanid by almost forty guitars and ukuleles.
Cantatas
Each year, Harvest hosts two large cantatas, one at Christmas time and one at Easter. Through the combined efforts of the orchestra, choir, drama department and audio-visual team, these performances have become a highlight for community outreach.
