Cleaning Up the Coast

Many students from the Harvest Christian Academy Senior High Beta and Service Clubs were up bright and early on Saturday morning in order to participate in the International Coastal Cleanup. They joined with many Guam residents who gathered all across the island to be part of this annual worldwide event held each September. The students met at Fish Eye park to sign up before grabbing trash bags and gloves and then working together to see how much trash they could collect. They worked all along the beach on either side of Fish Eye and along the road toward Asan. After a great morning of work performing a valuable community service the students hope to be able to participate in a project like the International Coastal Cleanup again!
