Attaching the second bay of the KHMG antenna to it's new location

The Harvest Family Radio antenna was finally moved up to the top of the tower that it has used since signing on the air in 1996. For the past 14 years, the center of the antenna has been 21 meters (about 69 feet) above the ground on a tower located in Barrigada Heights. The new location places the center of the antenna 43 meters (about 141 feet) above the ground. In terms of height above sea level, the center of the antenna is moving from about 679 feet to 751 feet above sea level. The additional height should help the clarity of the broadcast signal across the island. The move up the tower of KHMG’s antenna was made possible because the antenna that used to sit in this location has been relocated to another tower on the same property. The antenna move took about 4 to 6 hours on Tuesday, April 20. We ask that you consider donating towards the cost of this move. If you would like to learn more, please contact us.
