Ladies Prayer Meeting
Tuesday, March 2, 2010: With Missions Conference around the corner, the ladies focused their attention on the world around them. The ladies began by singing “Day by Day” and “Sweet Hour of Prayer” to set a tone of quiet worship and prayerfulness. Mrs. Fremont spoke on how to pray for missionaries and what to pray for them…things like safety, a close walk with the Lord, special needs to be met, for the children to walk with the Lord and for contentment were a few of the ideas she gave. The ladies then broke into small groups to pray for some of our missionaries and their needs. After praying, the ladies then were able to eat food from around the world and spend time talking and encouraging each other. It was a good meeting of quiet reflection and prayer.
