Do you remember the soda shops of the 50’s? Well the Ladies of Harvest Baptist Church revisited those times on Tuesday evening. Dressed in poodle skirts, scarves, poofy hair, and big sunglasses, the ladies enjoyed a night of fun, fellowship, and yummy desserts. The ladies sang songs, watched a funny skit on dinner time at home, and were blessed by a devotional by Peggy Giese.  Peggy shared about the journey her family has been on over the past year as she has battled breast cancer. She shared many of the things the Lord has taught her and her family and how He was always there to meet their needs. The evening ended with desserts plus demonstrations on how to nicely decorate cakes, make a homemade cappuccino, and make a plumeria out of a marshmallow. When the evening was over, the ladies had enjoyed a night out “back in the fifties.”
