The Harvest Family Seminar continued on Sunday during services at Harvest Baptist Church. Starting with a split session during Sunday School in the Family Life Center. Dr. Marty Von spoke to the men in the Fellowship Hall on the topic of “Fatherhood” while Mrs. Von spoke to the ladies in the main gymnasium/auditorium on the topic of “What’s in your purse?” She used items in her purse as object lessons of what the ladies needed in life. During the main worship service at 10:30am, everyone gathered in the FLC gymnasium for a time of singing and special music from the students of HBBC/I, the church choir, a children’s choir, and a special by Dustin and Scarlett Shevy. Dr. Marty Von spoke on the topic of relationships. During the evening service in the church auditorium at 6pm, Dr. Von used the Biblical character of David as an illustration of “Discouragement” and “Encouragement.” The Family Seminar weekend of Harvest concluded with a special Singles get together at Pastor and Mrs. Homsher’s home after the Family Bible Hour on Sunday evening.
