Music Recital at Harvest
Tri-M Honor Society at HCA
On Tuesday, February 9th, the High School students had the opportunity to attend the Tri-M Music Honor Society Recital in the Auditorium. They heard members of the Tri-M society perform vocal solos and duets as well as instrumental selections on piano, ukelele, violin, flute, horn, viola, guitar and baritone. The Tri-M members combined to end the concert with a performance of the theme from The Incredibles. Tri-M is a music honor society sponsored by the National Association for Music Education. The students who are a part of this organization in high school can choose to continue to be a part of this society in college. This past November Tri-M students picked their performance pieces and then began to practice them. In December, the students performed them for the first time for Miss Briggs. They continued practicing and again performed their pieces this past week as a final check for their performance. Their talent and hard work was on display for all to witness during the Tuesday afternoon recital. Congratulations to the Tri-M members on a job well done!
