Guam Harvest Ministries

The final ladies fellowship of 2009 was a wonderful time of fun and fellowship for the ladies of Harvest. The evening began with a special treat as an ensemble of HCA Middle School Band students performed Christmas music. After the ladies enjoyed singing Christmas carols, it was time for a delicious meal that included pork ribs, rice, rolls, a salad bar with a great variety of toppings, and a potato bar. After the meal, the ladies sampled homemade desserts, had fun making an ornament, and playing a game. Tessie Eckert then shared a devotional on the topic of encouragement.  A cookie contest was also part of the evening’s festivities and the winners were announced at the end of the fellowship. This year’s winners were Bethany Taylor for Best Tasting Cookies, Sara McGrew for Best Looking Cookies, and Melissa Lycan for Best Overall Cookies. At the end of the Ladies Christmas Fellowship, it was obvious that a great time was had by all!
