Sunday, December 19, 2009: During the morning worship service at Harvest Baptist Church, the auditorium was filled to capacity as the students of Harvest Baptist Bible College and Institute filled the room with Christmas music. In between each of the Christmas selections, videos of the students sharing verses, Christmas related stories and personal testimonies were shown that helped to communicate the true reason for Christmas. At the end of the concert, Pastor Herron challenged those in attendance with a message entitled “Let us Go to Bethlehem” that highlighted the response of those who came to witness the birth of the Savior. At the end of this special service, a Christmas gift was presented to the pastoral staff of Harvest. After the pastoral staff gift, Stephen Homsher stayed up front with Kevin Inafuku to help direct the closing song…a touching moment to a wonderful morning.
