Pilgrims and Indians Take Over HCA

Wednesday, November 25, 2009: The last day of school at Harvest Christian Academy before the short Thanksgiving holiday break is filled with colorful costumes, special activities, parents visiting the campus, and delicious food. In what has become an annual tradition, many students and faculty dress up like pilgrims and indians in order to recreate a little of the atmosphere from the very first Thanksgiving. At lunch time, all the students and parents have an opportunity to purchase a special Thanksgiving meal. The Class of 2010 plays a big part in the Thanksgiving feast in an effort to raise funds for their class trip in the Spring. Even though the day is only a half of a day on the schedule, it is one of the busiest and most enjoyable days of the school year.
