Afraid of the Dark
Chauncey and Lillums Stone arrive one June night at “Stone Mansion” to spend their two-week honeymoon. “Stone Mansion” is an isolated country estate which has been lent to them by Chauncey’s Aunt Alberta, and is supposed to be unoccupied. Chauncey and Lillums soon discover that things are not at all as they should be – and they find themselves plunged into an outlandish series of events as the evening progresses. This dramatic farce, written by James Reach, was presented by the Harvest Players on Friday and Saturday, November 20 and 21 in the Family Life Center at Harvest Christian Academy. The Harvest Players are students of HCA who make up the cast and crew. Under the direction of Miss Mary Geiman, the students put together a fun production that had those in attendance laughing and enjoying this first ever production on the FLC stage.
