Summit Meetings End but Lessons Live On
The 2009 Summit Meetings of Harvest Baptist Church have come to a close. Throughout the week, hundreds listened to the challenging messages of Pastor John C. Vaughn as he spoke each night on the topic of “Brokenness.” Dr. John Vaughn is Pastor Emeritus of Faith Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina where he served as Pastor for 30 years. While Pastor Vaughn ministered in the auditorium, Bob Roberts, the President of Kids 4 Truth Children’s Ministry ministered to the children in the Family Life Center. With the help of a number of the teenagers posing as King Arthur, Lady Guenevere, the Dark Knight and more, Bob Roberts was able to share the gospel each evening with a number of children. Although the meetings are over, the messages shared by both Dr. Vaughn and Bob Roberts will have a lasting, eternal impact.
