Church Work Day
A big “Thank You” goes out to everyone who helped with the Harvest Baptist Church Work Day on Saturday morning. After a quick snack of donuts and coffee, everyone gathered in the auditorium to learn of the morning’s tasks and to volunteer for the teams that would soon head out through the church building and the Family Life Center to make sure all the tasks were accomplished. From cleaning the bathrooms, nursery, and office in the church building to sweeping and mopping the gym floor (and lots more) in the Family Life Center, nearly 100 people eventually took part in the time of cleaning and fellowship! Once the majority of work was complete, everyone gathered in the cafeteria for a much deserved and delicious lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs.
