Coach Lewis, Assistant Coach Scott and the Middle School Girls Basketball Team
The Harvest Christian Academy Middle School Girls Basketball team is practicing hard under the direction of Coach Matt Lewis for the upcoming season. The first game of the season takes place on Monday, September 7th at 5:30 pm at St. Paul’s. On a recent episode of Harvest Highlights (subscribe to a podcast HERE), Coach Lewis shared his expectations for the upcoming season. First, he wants the team to show a good attitude of sportsmanship and Christlikeness. Second, he wants the girls to continue to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Although the team is coming off an 8-3 record last season, most of the members from that team have moved up to the High School level, so this year should be a good year of development for the team. Make your plans to come out and cheer on the Middle School Girls Basketball team of Harvest as they progress through the season.
