HBBC/I Adoption Sunday
This past Sunday night was a lovely evening for the Micronesian students of the college and institute to be “adopted” into a church family! Each church family who wants to be a part of this ministry opportunity was assigned three to five students to help and support while the students attend Harvest Baptist Bible College and Institute. The students then have an opportunity to get to a know a church family while they are away from home. The ice cream sundaes combined with good “family time” was a blessing for both students and church members. Mr. Joaquin Pena met with the parents to inform them of their responsibilities and the students eagerly waited to “meet” their family. The families then met with their respective students to eat ice cream, talk, and laugh together. A good time was had by all and the “HBBC/I Adoption Sunday” provided a great start to the year ahead.
