Enjoying a fiesta outside on the lanai of the Family Life Center

May 31, 2009: The Family Fellowship Fiesta helped to kick off the summer schedule at Harvest Baptist Church and was loads of fun for every member of the family. As everyone arrived for the 6 pm start, they dropped off delicious side dishes and desserts in the Family Life Center Fellowship Hall and then enjoyed fellowship and games before the meal began.  Once it was time to eat, there were plenty of goodies to enjoy including BBQ chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs grilled on the large FLC grill plus many local favorites.  After the meal, everyone gathered in the FLC auditorium for a time of singing led by Cliff Paulin and John Aguon.  Pastor Joe Henson then talked about the cost and value of children and challenged everyone to use the summer wisely.  Much hilarity ensued when Ken Keith and some of the Guahan Camp Team put on a Guam and Harvest version of “The Family Feud.” Questions like “What are the top versions of Spam” and “Name the five items in the top corner of the Harvest web site” proved to be quite the challenge.  When it was all said and done, it was a good reminder that the Lord has blessed Harvest in many, many ways and this summer should be a growing and wonderful time at Harvest Ministries.  For photos of the Family Fun Night, Click Here.
