“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” (Isaiah 52:7). Beautiful feet…where you’ve been, where you’re going–that’s the theme for the 2009 Missions Conference at Harvest Baptist Church. Challenging messages from our guest speaker, Dr. Gary Anderson, visits with missionaries via the internet, and lots of good music by the members of Harvest have all led to a full and challenging week as the Lord is challenging each person in attendance on their individual role to be more surrendered and more a part of “publishing salvation.” For photos from this years Missions Conference, Click Here. The Missions Conference will continue through Thursday March 19th with services at 7 pm. The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Gary Anderson, President of Baptist Mid-Missions. Dr. Anderson has visited more than half of the 60 fields in which Baptist Mid-Missions missionaries labor to “strategically advance the building of Christ’s Church — with His passion and for His glory.” A number of special guests from Micronesia will also be in attendance for this year’sFresh Water Conference and a different guest missionary will join many of the evening services via a live web conference. A special children’s program is available as well.
