Harvest Students Win Gold and Silver at Local Music Festival
2009 Tumon Bay Music Festival Command Performance
Congratulations to the Harvest Christian Academy choirs, bands, and orchestra for their outstanding performance in the 2009 Tumon Bay Music Festival. A number of musicians from across the islands of Guam and Saipan performed in this years event sponsored by the Guam Territorial Band. At the end of the event, Harvest Christian Academy was awarded a number of honors for their performance. Receiving silver medals were the Junior High Band and High School Band. The Junior High Choir, Orchestra, and Select Band received gold medals. The Elementary Honor Choir and the High School choir received a gold medals and were both invited back for the Command Performance on Sunday, March 15. Special thanks to the Harvest Christian Academy music faculty–Mr. Kevin Inafuku, Miss April Briggs, Miss Lisa Flower, Mrs. Michelle Hamilton, and Miss Kelly Schlarb–and to all the parents for their tremendous support.
