FLC: Power and Parking Update

by John ~ December 9th, 2008. Filed under: Harvest Ministries.

The opening of the FLC is just weeks away and the progress being made becomes more evident each day.  The recent removal of all the overhead power lines makes the already neat and clean Harvest campus look even better.

View from the FLC shows the Harvest campus with all power lines removed.

Before removing the power lines, all the power and generators had to be connected through underground conduits.  This will provide a tremendous help in keeping the power on during times of adverse weather conditions.

In the FLC, the new generator backup will provide more power, operate much quieter, and transfer in half the time as the current church generator backup system.  The new generator can provide power for the entire building, including the entire air conditioning system.

Although it is difficult to see all the progress taking place inside the FLC, one obvious sign of improvement is the final touches on the FLC parking area.  The lot has been paved, the parking spaces painted, and grass, trees, and flowers planted.  The new parking area will add over 100 much needed spaces.  Work on the FLC continues inside on the classrooms, chapel, excercise room, and gymnasium floor.  Look for a new update on the FLC progress each week.  In the meantime, CLICK HERE to visit the Family Life Center page and see a continuously updated photo of the building.
