HCA: The Miracle Worker

November 21 and 22, 2008: The main auditorium of Harvest Bapist Church was transformed into the Keller family home–including a working water pump–for the Harvest Players production of “The Miracle Worker.” Students, under the direction of Miss Mary Geiman, worked long and hard to get everything ready for the opening night. When the lights came up, family, faculty, and guests looked on as Annie Sullivan (CJ Ochoco) worked tirelessly to help Helen Keller (Maya Wong) grasp language skills in order to open up the world around her. The emotions and frustrations of Annie’s task against seemingly insurmountable odds were communicated clearly by all the cast.
