Mrs. Hamilton conducts the Beginning Band

Tuesday, November 25, 2008: The concert season at Harvest Christian Academy is under way as the first of many concerts took place featuring the beginning strings and band.  Miss Kelly Schlarb introduced parents, faculty, and guests to the beginning strings students as they demonstrated the progression of skills they have learned this year.  The Intermediate Orchestra, featuring students in the strings program for over a year, then performed a number of selctions.  Mrs. Michelle Hamilton then conducted the Beginning Band in a series of songs beginning with a reproduction of the what the first day of band practice sounded like and concluding with “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” For photos of the strings and band students, Click Here.
